Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is specialised style of massage used to manually direct lymphatic fluid from an area of congestion and encourage better movement in the lymphatic system. A slow rhythmic movement of hands over the tissue helps to reduce a build up of fluid/swelling build up.
MLD can be used on a number of different areas and conditions, including but not limited to:
* Lymphoedema
* Lipeodema
* Oedema/Swelling (including pregnancy related swelling)
* Swelling due to sporting injuries
* Pre & Post surgery swelling
* Scar management
